"Offering a bespoke design and build service"
Although primarily specialising in loft conversions, we also offer other services to create the perfect home for you. These include full property renovations, fitting of new kitchens, garden rooms, upgrade of bathrooms and the building of extensions.
After your initial enquiry, we would arrange a convenient time to carry out a survey of your property and discuss your requirements. From this initial survey, we would then prepare a scaled design drawing detailing what can be achieved in the space you require converting. We would also provide you with a fixed price written quotation. If you were then to place an order with us, we would re-visit to carry out a full structural survey of your property so that we can prepare full working drawings and structural calculations to be submitted for both building control and planning approval (if required). We can also offer a planning approval only package for your peace of mind should you be concerned that the gaining of planning approval may be a little tricky. Once we have all necessary approvals in place, we would then arrange a convenient start date to get your project underway.
"Reducing our environmental impact during and after the build"
With all projects we undertake, any environmental impact that the conversion may have is taken into consideration. This starts right from the beginning when quotations and design drafts are emailed, not posted. Building Regulations ask for a minimum U-value requirement but we aim to go over and above this, thus reducing heating bills to the new conversion and making savings in energy costs year on year. Along with this, all new radiators are fitted with thermostatic radiator valves, lights are fitted with LED low energy light bulbs, roof windows are triple glazed and all windows are fitted with upgraded glazing to make the conversion energy efficient.
With the many years of experience we have within the construction industry, it became quite obvious that there is a lot of waste product from the building trade. With this in mind, during the physical build of any project we aim to be aware of any ways that we can reduce waste. This comes in the form of re-using any materials wherever possible and recycling any suitable waste to the relevant outlets. Along with this, all of our timber is responsibly sourced and we buy materials locally wherever possible.
